Wayne Parton Construction currently has a Komatsu PC 150 Excavator, a John Deere 750B Crawler Tractor (dozer), a Cat 315 C Excavator and a Cat D6M Track Type Tractor (dozer) for road construction, home-sites and large jobs. We have a John Deere 35ZTS Mini Excavator for trails, septic systems and small jobs.

Wayne Parton began operating a bull dozer at the age of ten after school and throughout the summer until he graduated, then he began running it off and on for his dad when he would come home from working construction jobs around the country. In 1984 Wayne purchased his own bull dozer and went into business for himself fulltime. He worked mainly for individuals doing home sites, driveways and occasional commercial sites until 1997 when the Fontana Lake Estates developers contacted him and he began working for them to build the quality road system they now have in place. Also in 1997 Wayne purchased his first track hoe. In 2001 these developers bought Round Top and Wayne began working on the road system for what is now the Fontana Trace Development.

On the main roads of these developments two cars can pass side by side and the slopes are on a grade that permits grass to grow and makes maintenance easier thus allowing most road-banks to be mowed with a long arm mower. Although Wayne Parton Construction did the work this was only achieved because the development owners took pride in their development and therefore requested a road of the highest quality.

Wayne's youngest son, Landon began working for the company in 2004. He can run all the equipment and has been a big help to the company.
